All Police agents assigned to the Las Terrenas area in Samana were replaced, Major General Eduardo Alberto Then, executive director of the Police, announced on Saturday, 8 October 2022. The Police did not give the reasons for the change.
Meanwhile, El Caribe reports searches carried out by the National Drug Control Agency(DNCD) and the National Police to locate a Jarros Almanzar Damian, also known as Jarry or El Macorisano, and described as the leading capo in Samana.
