Dominican bachata singer Zacarias Ferreira has become the first Dominican to have earned the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) 10x Diamond Award after the successes of “La Asesina”, his recent single.
Ferreira has won gold and platinum RIAA awards for his album El Amor and singles: Si Pudiera, La Asesina, Los Recuerdos, Amiga Veneno, La Mejor de Todas, Me Sobran las Palabras, Ya No Te Buscare and El Intruso from 2020 to 2022.
El Nuevo Diario reports Ferreira is the first Dominican to win the coveted RIAA Diamond Award.
