Ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) deputy Julito Fulcar advances that a deal has been reached so the Baní Bypass can advance.
Fulcar says that Public Works Minister Deligne Ascensión reached the payment agreement with the owners of the land the Baní Bypass needs for its construction. The owners of the affected farms say they had only received 20% of the promised payments for their farms and property.
At present, everyone headed to the southwest has to go through the congested Baní city with delays of at least half an hour.
