Adriano Espaillat reelected in New York

US Congress member Adriano Espaillat was reelected on Tuesday, 8 November 2022. The Dominican-born congressman was the only member of the New York City Congressional delegation to not have a general election opponent.

US Representative Adriano Espaillat represents New York’s Thirteenth Congressional District that includes Harlem, East Harlem, West Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Inwood, Marble Hill, and the north-west Bronx.

Representative Espaillat is the first Dominican American to serve in the US House of Representatives. He was first elected to the US Congress in 2016. This will be his fourth term in Congress.
