Conep elects Celso Juan Marranzini its new president

The National Business Council (Conep) voted for Celso Juan Marranzini to preside the Conep. He will replace Pedro Brache as of January 2023. After being named president-elect of the organization, Marranzini said he will focus on directing efforts to turn the country from an importer country to an exporter country. Marranzini is an economist. His family has invested heavily in the electricity sector.

Other members of the board are Julio V. Brache, vice president (AIRD); Lina García, second vice president (Envases Antillanos); and Roberto Herrera (Dominican Association of Electricity Industries – ADIE), third vice president.
