Metro Buses serves Santiago and Puerto Plata (city and Sosua) from centrally-located Av. Winston Churchill. The bus company for years had operated from a location one block from Av. 27 de Febrero on the same Churchill avenue, but had relocated to Av. Luperon in western Santo Domingo.
As of Monday, 28 November 2022, the bus company operates from the new location at Av. Winston Churchill corner Heriberto Núñez street in the Poligono Central.
The bus company Metro Servicios Turísticos dates back to 1969. Today it has a fleet of buses with capacity to serve 5,000 passengers a day on its now routes to Santiago, Puerto Plata and Sosua.
