President Luis Abinader was in Miches for the inauguration of the all-inclusive Temptation Miches Resort and the Temptation Grand Miches Resort. Temptation is a Mexican hotel brand. Original Group of Mexico is the investor. The company reports an investment of US$180 million, including financing of US$92 million by the Dominican government bank, the Banco de Reservas.
Abinader had been at the sites for the groundbreaking on 4 September 2020, at the start of his administration.
The Temptation Miches Resort has 382 suites and the Temptation Grand Miches Resort has 114, for 496 rooms.
Temptation Grand Miches Resort describes itself as a luxury resort and is for couples only. Temptation Miches Resort is marketed for free-spirited travelers (21+). It has trendy adult play areas, including with designated topless areas. The hotel organizes special parties and gatherings for people mingling.
Located north of Punta Cana, Miches is staking its claim as the next great Dominican beach destination. Miches is labout 100 kilometers north of Punta Cana International Airport. It is easily accessible by a good highway. The resorts are in the same area as the family-oriented Club Med in Playa Esmeralda’s that opened in 2019.
