The National Theater presents the classic Nutcracker Ballet by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky from 16 to 18 December 2022 at the Carlos Piantini Hall. The dancers are from the Ballet Nacional Dominicano, Ballet Concierto Dominicano and the Escuela Nacional de Danza. Showings are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, 16 and 17 December 2022 at 8:30pm and Sunday, 18 December at 11am and 6:30pm.
Carlos Veitia is the ballet director. He has produced several versions of the Nutcracker in past years. He is also the artistic director of the National Theater. Scenography is by Fidel Lopez.
