The Ministry of Interior & Police is pondering the possibility of banning the circulation of two people on a motorcycle from 10pm to 6am, as proposed by Listin Diario executive editor Miguel Franjul in an editorial on 11 December 2022. The Ministry of Interior and Police is studying the measure that it says could be implemented to control crime after the holidays. There are more than 800,000 registered motorcycles in the Dominican Republic.
