The Civil Defense reports that four persons died in a major accident involving at least 10 vehicles on Duarte Highway Km 69, near Piedra Blanca on the way to Bonao. At least 10 persons were injured in the Wednesday, 14 December 2022 accident when three trucks, including two container freighters, and three cars collided.
The accident caused a major traffic jam of several kilometers in the Santo Domingo-Monseñor Nouel direction.
