
The Central Electoral Board (JCE) announces its staff will not work on Fridays 23 and 29 December. The staff is being given the extra days off for the Christmas and New Year holidays. The JCE says that only staff at civil offices with scheduled weddings or those that issue marriage, death certificates and ID cards will continue working on those two days.
The Central Electoral Board (JCE) says otherwise all the offices of the institution will be working this week until Thursday, 22 December 2022, returning to the usual schedule on Monday, 26 December 2022.
The following week, the JCE personnel will work until Thursday, 29 December to return to normal working hours on Monday, 2 January 2023.
The note from the JCE explains that the Civil Status Offices that have weddings programmed, as well as the delegations that operate in hospitals and the centers for the issuance of birth, death and identity cards will continue to offer services to the general public.
