Spokesman for the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in the Chamber of Deputies, Julito Furcal says that his brother Roberto Furcal was successfully operated by Dr. David Berger at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
The controversial former Education Minister Roberto Furcal was suffering from severe ulcerative colitis. Throughout his two years as Minister of Education, Furcal made headlines time after time on accusations of major irregularities in procurement and teacher and staff hiring. He was removed from the post in August 2020 and appointed Minister without Portfolio, and entrusted with working on strategic projects, based at the Presidency.
