The recently created Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVED) has announced the opening of national tenders for over RD$400 million to try and finish the major inner-city medical center at th Dr. Luis Eduardo Aybar hospital, the multisport pavilion in the Jardines del Norte and the mental health facilities in La Altagracia or Espaillat provinces, or the Plaza de la Cultura in El Seibo, among other major government projects.
