The Presidency enacted the Air Transportation Services Agreement between the Government of the Dominican Republic and the Government of the State of Qatar. The agreement had been signed on 6 December 2017 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The presidential act is dated 30 December 2022. It orders that Resolution 372-22 on the air transport agreement, approved by the National Congress, be published in the Official Gazette for its knowledge and implementation.
The agreement seeks to foster cooperation between both states to facilitate the expansion of air service opportunities and guarantee the highest degree of international safety and security. The objective is to motivate the development of a greater variety of airline service offers and competitive prices.
