The Chamber of Deputies authorized the government to borrow an additional US$100 million on Tuesday, 10 January 2023. The loan is to finance the Program to Support the Consolidation of an Inclusive Social Protection System in the Dominican Republic. This program will be implemented by the Supérate Program of the Presidency. The initiative now moves to the Senate for approval.
