The Tigres del Licey of Santo Domingo lead the seven-game playoffs of the Dominican Winter Professional Baseball Championship.
The Estrellas Orientales of San Pedro de Macoris had won the first game 5-2 on 13 January, but then lost to the Licey 8-3 and 1-0 during the Saturday and Sunday final games.
The best-of-seven series will determine the Lidom champion, representing the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Series, to be held in the cities of Caracas and La Guaira in Venezuela from 2 to 10 February 2023.
