Miss Universe’s second runner-up, Andreina Martinez returned on 16 January 2023 to the Dominican Republic and was enthusiastically celebrated at Las Americas International Airport for her outstanding performance at the pageant. Upon arrival, Miss Dominican Republic said she would most likely be traveling to New York and Thailand for commitments with the Miss Universe company that come with being chosen the second runner-up. The 2023 contest crowned Miss USA. Miss Venezuela was the first runner-up.
Upon arrival, she told the press she would continue to work on programs to improve the education of young girls in the Dominican Republic.
