The National Police said it arrested the man nicknamed “Cuatro Dedos,” who is accused of wounding a young woman in the head when she refused to pay him for cleaning her car window. He threw a stone at the young woman’s window, breaking the glass and injuring the 19-year old who was waiting at a stoplight on Olof Palme Avenue corner Núñez de Cáceres Avenue in the National District.
The accused is José Del Carmen Nuñez (a) Cuatro Dedos. He was apprehended by means of arrest warrant No. 0009-2023, on Winston Churchill Avenue, corner Paseo de los Locutores.
The detainee was identified by the 19-year old female victim and other persons as the presumed author of the wound in her head caused by the stone, on the evening of Tuesday, 31 January 2023. The woman would place a complaint to the Police that facilitated the arrest. She was accompanied by her father, Camel Bortokam when she placed the complaint with prosecutors and police to initiate the prosecution of the case.
It is recalled that the police had already initiated investigations into the case, after learning about it through social networks and the media.
