At around 8:30 on Saturday night, the ground shook hard for those persons in Puerto Plata, Altamira, Moca, and Santiago. It was a 4.2 magnitude earthquake along the Septentrional fault line that runs east-west along the mountains of the northern part of the Dominican Republic. There were no reported damages or injuries at this time.
