The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) cleared Air Europa for flights from Madrid to Punta Cana, carrying passengers and cargo. The airline will fly on Mondays.
Air Europa is authorized to fly Madrid-Santo Domingo-New York and Madrid-New York-Santo Domingo on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 20 June 2023 to 29 October 2023. The airline announced it would start with a weekly flight using a Boeing 787.
The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) also authorized World 2 Fly Portugal to operate the Lisbon/Punta Cana route this year. The airline flies a A330-300 aircraft.
