Hyatt announced on 16 February 2023 the opening of Dreams Flora Resort & Spa in the Punta Cana area. The 520-room resort is located relatively near the Punta Cana International Airport in the Cabeza de Toro beach. The resort is part of the Hyatt Inclusive Collection and targets families.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation reported the resort marks the expansion of Inclusive Collection’s presence in the Dominican Republic to 12 total resorts and is the fifth Dreams Resort & Spa in the Caribbean destination. In the Dominican Republic, Hyatt operates hotels under the brands Hyatt Ziva (Cap Cana), Hyatt Zilara (Cap Cana), Zoetry, Secrets (Cap Cana, Royalton-Bavaro), Breathless (Uvero Alto, Punta Cana), Dreams (Macao Beach, Dominicus Beach-La Romana, Onyx-Uvero Alto) and Sunscape (Puerto Plata).
The Dreams Flora Resort & Spa resort features two waterslides and a pool for guests of all ages. There is an Explorer’s Club for children 3-12 and a Core Zone Teens Club for those ages 13-17.
