The Society of Dominican Orchidology announces this year’s exhibition is open Thursday, 16 March 2023 at the National Botanical Gardens in Santo Domingo. The event runs through Sunday, 19 March.
The flower show presents the winners of the annual orchid growers’ competition. It is an opportunity to delight in the many varieties and colors of the precious orchid flowers.
There are workshops and talks on the different aspects of growing orchids. Orchids and other flowers are sold at lower fair prices.
Admission tickets are RD$200 per person for the event that lasts from 9am to 6pm. The ticket includes admission to the orchids flower show, the educational workshops and the botanical gardens shuttle.
