The new Terminal B2 of the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is scheduled for a May 2023 inauguration. Punta Cana International Airport is the busiest airport in the Caribbean.
The Puntacana Group is investing US$90 million to add additional space to handle the increasing travel to the destination. 25,000-square meters are being added to Terminal B to prepare the airport to receive an additional 1.5 million passengers, said Frank Elías Rainieri when speaking to the press in Punta Cana.
