Diario Libre publishes an in-depth report into the free-spending at the Presidency agency for strategic projects, Propeep. Under its previous director, Neney Cabrera, the agency had a budget of RD$6 billion but spent more, says Diario Libre. After numerous complaints of irregularities in proceedings, Cabrera was replaced by the movie actor Robertico Salcedo. He has a generous budget of RD$4 billion.
Diario Libre reports that the questionable spending and reduced accountability continues at the agency.
