A Siberian Husky was abandoned by its owners who it seems had left the city for the long Labor Day weekend. Neighbors were able to provide water by a hose and food to the dog that was left on the apartment balcony in the upscale Piantini neighborhood.
Reports are that eventually, a crew of the National District firemen rescued the dog.
The abandoned dog case went viral after TV news commentator and business and economy writer, Victor Bautista posted a video of the plight of the dog on his Twitter account.
The neighbors said it was not the first time that the dog’s owners left the pet abandoned on the balcony.
