Noticias SIN reported that skylift service that opened to the general public on 2 May 2023 was interrupted at 10am. The operators said it would be resumed at 5pm.
President Luis Abinader had said the service would be free to the general public in the month of May. The service official schedule is from 6am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 9pm.
The reality is that the service is operating from 6am to 10am and from 5 to 9pm. On Saturdays, the service will be from 6am to 10am and from 4 to 8pm. Sundays, the service will be from 10am to 4pm.
The operators say the skylift is still in testing phase and thus the shortened schedule.
