The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) authorized that Arajet, the low cost carrier, operate seven new direct flights to South American destinations.
Arajet is now authorized to add to its routes:
Santo Domingo/Buenos Aires, Argentina;
Santo Domingo/Santa Cruz, Bolivia;
Santo Domingo/Asuncion, Paraguay;
Santo Domingo/Montevideo, Uruguay;
Santo Domingo/Chile;
Santiago/Bogota, Colombia;
Santiago/Medellin, Colombia.
The JAC’s Air Transportation Department’s Statistics Division indicates that Arajet would make available 216,050 seats to these destinations and would transport an average of 121,119 passengers to and from the requested routes.
