The Migration Agency announces a slight change in the requirements, of interest to those traveling with children these summer vacations. The permit is in place to reduce the possibility of children being abducted. It establishes the procedures for parents to follow when a child is not to travel with both parents.
Now the receipt for the fee for the minor permit at Banco de Reservas must be made in the name of one of the parents or the minor’s legal guardian.
The new requirement goes into effect 1 June 2023.
