President Luis Abinader was present for the official start of operations of Qik Banco Digital Dominicano. A Banco Popular affiliate, Qik is the country’s first “neobank”. The bank only offers digital services. Qik manages cloud data with artificial intelligence.
Banco Popular is the country’s largest private Dominican bank.
Qik Digital Bank says its customers can keep savings account with zero commissions.
Qik has been operating for months. For the official launch, the digital bank announces an expansion of its product portfolio.
