Hilton announced it will be adding a first all-inclusive to its Curio Collection – the Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort just north of Punta Cana. Miches is a new ecotouristic destination about 60 miles from Punta Cana International Airport. The resort is located on Esmeralda Beach.
Hilton will be managing the 502-room resort that is owned by Zemi Hotels & Resorts, SRL. The hotel is scheduled for a 2024 opening.
Miches is known for its beaches, mountainside landscapes.
The Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort is Hilton’s 10th all-inclusive property in the Caribbean and Latin America. The company has announced plans to grow the brand in the Dominican Republic.
“The signing of Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is a momentous addition to our robust pipeline in the broader Caribbean, where we have nearly 30 Hilton properties operating across the region and approximately 30 hotels in development,” Hilton Vice President Pablo Maturana said.
“As we work to double our Caribbean portfolio and nearly triple our presence in the Dominican Republic, we are proud to work alongside visionary owners who share our values and support responsible tourism to incredible destinations like Miches,” Maturana continued.
Curio Collection is a soft brand that allows for individual branding so hotels keep their style while connecting to the Hilton reservations and Honors system.
Meanwhile, Zemi Hotels & Resorts CEO Frank Elias Rainieri said, “We are incredibly proud to be working with Hilton and, together, introducing the first all-inclusive Curio Collection by Hilton resort in the Dominican Republic.” Frank Elias Rainieri is the son of Puntacana destination founder, Frank Rainieri. He is also president of the Puntacana Group.

The Zemi All-Inclusive will join the Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda – and the Temptation Grand Miches Resort open since 2019 at the new tourism destination.
