More solar farms for the DR

The steady pace of installation of new solar farms in the Dominican Republic continues. This past week, the National Energy Commission (CNE) authorized three new companies to install another 148MW of solar energy.

The companies are:
LCV Ecoener Solares Dominicana – 50 MWn Planta Solar Fotovoltaica Payita 1 in Nagua, María Trinidad Sánchez in the northeast.
Cotoperí Solar FV – 48.06 MWn Parque Fotovoltaico Cotoperí Solar in Guaymate, La Romana in the southeast.
Renewable Energy World Dominicus – 50MWn Parque Solar REWD in Villa Hermosa, La Romana in the southeast.
