The Dominican Republic women’s senior volleyball team (Las Reinas del Caribe) lost 3-1 to Japan in its opening game in the League of Nations, the prime international volleyball tournament. The League of Nations is happening in Japan.
The DR won the third set. The sets were 25-23, 25-18, 22-25 and 25-15.
The DR is playing in Group 2 – Japan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Croatia, Germany, China, and Dominican Republic.
