President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia received on 22 May 2023 the credentials of Dominican Ambassador Laura Faxas at the presidential palace in Belgrade. Faxas is a career diplomat. Previously, she was the country’s ambassador in Austria.
During the meeting, they discussed the priorities of Serbia that is part of the European Union and exchanged ideas for further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, including cooperation in the sectors of investment, trade and tourism.
Ambassador Faxas reported that they discussed the importance of tourism development for both countries. She said President Vučić expressed interest in holding political consultations for the establishment of a road map to define actions and projects of mutual interest, which will contribute to energize and strengthen relations between the two nations.
