
The National Symphony Orchestra Spring Season begins Wednesday, 14 June 2023 with a first concert conducted by Maestro Jose Antonio Molina at 8pm at the main hall of the Gran Teatro del Cibao in Santiago.
For the inaugural gala, Maestro Molina has chosen the music of German composers Richard Wagner (Overture to the Tannhauser Opera) and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, op. 67.
Puerto Rican Jaime Morales is traveling to Santiago to conduct the Dominican orchestra for the second concert on Wednesday, 28 June 2023. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Magic Flute Overture, Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3 and Symphony No. 41, Jupiter are on the program. Luis Augusto Martínez will perform a violin solo.
Take note that both concerts start at 8pm.
