American Airlines announced it will be flying everyday from Charlotte, North Carolina to Puerto Plata’s Gregorio Luperon International Airport (POP) in December 2023. The airline is also expanding service from Charlotte’s Douglas International Airport (CLT) to Punta Cana’s PUJ international airport to four flights daily. These flights start 5 December 2023, in time for the Christmas travel season.
American says it will reinforce Miami’s (MIA) status as the largest gateway between the US and Latin America and the Caribbean with more departures this winter. The airline announced it is increasing to two flights a day its service from MIA to STi (Santiago).
