President Luis Abinader was busy over the weekend, especially in the North Coast city of Puerto Plata, where he opened the refurbished basketball court in the Gregorio Luperon barrio, cut a ribbon to reopen the Municipal Market, opened a new Army barracks, and inaugurated the brand-new Fisherman’s Wharf.
President Abinader also was the leading figure at the second stage of the Los Guzmancito Wind Farm where 13 new wind turbines joined the 16 already in operation at the largest wind generation facility on the North Coast. While he was talking to reporters, the president announced that he would soon be on hand to initiate the construction of the Sosua Municipal Hospital.
