
The Weather Office (Onamet) is forecasting the tropical wave combined with a high trough passing over the Dominican Republic will have moved on by late afternoon of Wednesday, 5 July 2023. That is, by late Wednesday, the rains should be reduced to a few scattered showers.
On Tuesday and for the daytime of Wednesday, the humidity left by the systems will produce showers and thunderstorms at times and wind gusts over the Caribbean coast, the northeast and southern slopes of the Central Mountain Range. Expect rains in Monte Plata, Monseñor Nouel (Bonao), San Pedro de Macorís, Peravia (Baní), Azua, Barahona, Pedernales, San Cristóbal, Greater Santo Domingo.
Temperatures will remain hot, says the Weather Office.
