The Hilton hotel chain announced the opening of its 130-room Hilton Garden Inn in La Romana on the outskirts of the city of La Romana. Major League Baseball’s Edwin Encarnacion is said to be the major investor in the new hotel.
Located on the Caribbean coast, the hotel is around 20 minutes from La Romana’s international airport. The city center and Altos de Chavon are even closer. The hotel is accessed via the Carretera La Caleta of La Romana, and is an eight-minute walk from La Caleta beach, the public beach in the city of La Romana.
The hotel is located at Calle A, corner Calle 15, La Marina, La Romana.
