The Dominican Republic’s U23 women’s volleyball team won the Panamerican Cup U23 during the tournament that took place in Hermosillo, Mexico from 16-24 July 2023. The DR defeated Mexico (3-1) to win the championship with scores of 18-25, 25-23, 12-25 and 24-26. Argentina came in third place in the event after defeating Peru.
The Dominican Republic is now a five-time straight U23 Women’s Pan American Cup winner. The Dominican Republic earned a berth to the 2025 Junior Pan American Games as one of the top two ranked Norceca teams of the event.
