Years back, the late Oscar de la Renta contributed to the uniform design for the National Police. The Abinader administration says that new colors and designs are forthcoming as the government seeks to recreate the population’s image of the Police.
Minister of Interior and Police Jesus Vasquez announced the Superior Police Council has approved that police uniforms go from gray to blue. The motto of the Police will change from “Law and Order” to “Protect and Serve.”
