The National Statistics Office (ONE) will present the results of the 2022 National Census on 10 August 2023. The census was carried out 10-24 November 2022. The data is considered crucial to decision-making nationwide. The data is also timely for the 2024 general elections.
Homero Figueroa, spokesman for the Presidency, said the first data to be made publicly available derived from the 2022 National Census is that of the total population, population by gender and by municipalities and provinces.
