The Dominican Republic, the United States, Puerto Rico and Cuba are qualified for the semifinals of the Norceca Final Six Pan American Cup scheduled for 25 August 2023. The tournament has dates of 18 to 27 August 2023.
Tropical Storm Franklin affected the tournament schedule and most of the games that would have been played on 22 and 23 August rescheduled for 24 August with a grueling schedule of two matches for the teams.
The 24 August games are:
Mexico vs. Puerto Rico
United States vs Cuba
Dominican Republic vs Canada
Puerto Rico vs Canada
Mexico vs Cuba
Dominican Republic vs United States.
The Norceca Final Six Pan American Cup senior volleyball tournament authorities had determined the championship continue. Still, the director of the Center for Emergency Operations (COE), Juan Manuel Mendez ordered the shutdown and only the United States vs. Mexico game was played on 22 August without the public in attendance.
