President Luis Abinader and Vice President Raquel Peña had a very busy weekend full of inaugurations, ribbon-cutting and key-giving in the Cibao and in San Cristobal, Monte Plata and La Romana provinces. The President recently announced he will seek reelection in the May 2024 general election.
The President inaugurated public schools, childcare facilities and industrial buildings. He attended the delivery of keys to dozens of beneficiaries of government-build apartments. He was also present to open a child play area in Santiago’s Botanical Gardens and cut the ribbons of a new state-funded pharmacy on Estrella Sadhalá Avenue in Santiago.
Vice President Raquel Peña inaugurated three primary schools in San Cristobal, Monte Plata, and La Romana.
