Good news to share. The gold medal winner of the 400 m in the World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary, 26-year old Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic came home from the championship with a significant stash of cash.
Indeed, the winner of the Women’s 400 m race received US$70,000 for first place.
