The doors are open for medical consultations and services at the new General Hospital Dr. Mario Tolentino Dipp. The director of the hospital is Ramon Duran.
President Luis Abinader had inaugurated on 10 August 2023 the Doctor Mario Tolentino Dipp General and Specialty Hospital in Santo Domingo North municipality, with an investment of more than RD$2.8 billion.
The hospital construction began in 2010 and is part of the Ciudad de la Salud Santo Domingo hospital complex.
The hospital is the fourth specialized center to open in the Ciudad de la Salud. The other hospitals are the Ney Arias Lora (trauma), Hugo Mendoza (pediatric) and Reynaldo Almánzar (maternal).
