The Ministry of Culture announced the overall success of the 2023 Santo Domingo Book Fair. The event received praise from book sellers and the general public. Book sellers say they sold more than RD$50 million in the 10-day activity. The organizers took full advantage of the Plaza de la Cultura museums and this year kept most of the cultural activities indoors, much appreciated in these days of intense summer heat.
