CAID opens in Santo Domingo East

A branch of The Center for Comprehensive Care for Disability (CAID) has opened to serve the population in Eastern Santo Domingo. Eastern Santo Domingo is the most populated area of Greater Santo Domingo. The center is designed to serve a population of 225 boys and girls at the same time. The center brings relief to parents with children with autism.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of the Santo Domingo Este headquarters, expanding our coverage and facilitating access to high-quality comprehensive care for children with special needs,” explained Henry Rosa Polanco, national director of the CAID. He stressed that the team at the new center is highly trained and multidisciplinary with staff made up of medical doctors, therapists, psychologists and disability specialists.
