President Luis Abinader inaugurated on Saturday, 14 October 2023, renovations at the Baní Free Trade Zone Park.
“This government is committed to this free zone model that has been gradually advancing and creating better employment conditions and reactivating all productive structures in every corner of the country,” said the President.
He explained that the total investment in improvements in the Baní manufacturing center was RD$100 million.
The Ministry of Public Works carried out the works in coordination with the National Council of the Export Free Trade Zones and the support of the private sector.
The Bani free zone complex employs around 2,000.
