The Sirena group is the first to install self-checkout at its supermarket and department stores in the Dominican Republic. The first store to get automatic checkout technology is the Sirena Market on Av. Lope de Vega. The technology would lower operational costs for the supermarket and mega store company. La Sirena Group is a major employer of young Dominicans.
