The Tax Agency announces the renewal of the vehicle circulation permit (marbete) starting 17 October 2023. DGII says that 1,770,261 need to renew the sticker. The government expects to collect RD$2.88 billion for the tax that covers circulation 2023-2024. The renewal process is through 14 January 2024.
The prices are the same as last year:
RD$1,500.00 for vehicles manufactured through 2018.
RD$3,000.00 for vehicles manufactured 2019 and beyond.
